Dr SEENIVASAGAM Park (Taman DR) was formerly known as Coronation Park. It is curently the oldest recreational park in Ipoh. There is also having a mini Japanese garden in here. This garden is known as “Japanese Mini Garden” after an accord was signed between Ipoh and Fukuoka on 21 March 1989. The Japanese Garden is decorated with various rock lanterns and rock water pitchers with bamboo trees planted at the park entrance. Willows and pine trees are also planted in this park to enhance the Japanese characteristics. Lotus flowers also add colour to the park, with a wooden bridge connecting the park to the little island in the middle of the lake. Overall, the ambiance in this Japanese Garden makes a person feels that he is actually in Japan.There some information that has been attached.

Gunung Lang Recreational Park

Gunung Lang Recreational Park which is located only five kilometers from Ipoh town is one of the many limestone mountains in the state of Perak, Malaysia, particularly in Lembah Kinta. Gunung Lang is a stretch of limestone areas in the centre of Lembah Kinta and it is a recreational area in the north of Ipoh City. It can be accessed via the North South Expressway through the Sungai Siput and Jalan Kuala Kangsar exit.This limestone area was explored way back in 1880 by a Malay tin miner, whereby the mining activities were carried out in the caves here. This area was also turned into an iron ore mining area which developed a disrupted landscape area such as the swampy areas and lakes. The Ipoh Local Plan Study 2020 outlined the 111.93 hectares Gunung Lang Area as the Stage 2 Environmentally Sensitive Area and needs to be conserved.
