Dr SEENIVASAGAM Park (Taman DR) was formerly known as Coronation Park. It is curently the oldest recreational park in Ipoh. There is also having a mini Japanese garden in here. This garden is known as “Japanese Mini Garden” after an accord was signed between Ipoh and Fukuoka on 21 March 1989. The Japanese Garden is decorated with various rock lanterns and rock water pitchers with bamboo trees planted at the park entrance. Willows and pine trees are also planted in this park to enhance the Japanese characteristics. Lotus flowers also add colour to the park, with a wooden bridge connecting the park to the little island in the middle of the lake. Gua Tempurung is a cave in Gopeng, Kampar District, Perak, Malaysia. It is popular among spelunkers, or caving enthusiasts. More than 3 km long, it is one of the longest caves in Peninsula Malaysia. Part of it has been developed as a show cave with electric lighting and walkways and there are a range of tours of different lengths and difficulty. A fine river cave, the river passage runs about 1.6 km through the hill. There are three very large chambers and some spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.There are various tours into the caves being the main attraction here. These caves are located under the limestone hills and form tunnels that runs from east to west, nearly 1.9 km in length. Visitors can experience these tours with specific requirements of prior preparation. Certain tours such as the River Adventure Tours require visitors to bring a change of clothes and shoes. Gunung Lang Recreational Park which is located only five kilometers from Ipoh town is one of the many limestone mountains in the state of Perak, Malaysia, particularly in Lembah Kinta. Gunung Lang is a stretch of limestone areas in the centre of Lembah Kinta and it is a recreational area in the north of Ipoh City. It can be accessed via the North South Expressway through the Sungai Siput and Jalan Kuala Kangsar exit.This limestone area was explored way back in 1880 by a Malay tin miner, whereby the mining activities were carried out in the caves here. This area was also turned into an iron ore mining area which developed a disrupted landscape area such as the swampy areas and lakes. The Ipoh Local Plan Study 2020 outlined the 111.93 hectares Gunung Lang Area as the Stage 2 Environmentally Sensitive Area and needs to be conserved. Kellie's Castle (sometimes also called Kellie's Folly) is a castle located in Batu Gajah, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. The unfinished, ruined mansion, was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith. According to differing accounts, it was either a gift for his wife or a home for his son.Kellie's Castle is situated beside the Raya River (Sungai Raya), which is a tributary to the Kinta River.Kellie's Castle is now a popular local tourist attraction, with some believing it to be haunted.
