Padang Ipoh




Ipoh Padang - padang means field in Malay - is large field in the city centre lined by colonial buildings. It was set up in 1898 and was used as a cricket field for the British in the colonial days in the early 20th century. Nowdays has been the recreational place. There have some information about the Ipoh Padang.

Dr SEENIVASAGAM Park (Taman DR) was formerly known as Coronation Park. It is curently the oldest recreational park in Ipoh. There is also having a mini Japanese garden in here. This garden is known as “Japanese Mini Garden” after an accord was signed between Ipoh and Fukuoka on 21 March 1989. The Japanese Garden is decorated with various rock lanterns and rock water pitchers with bamboo trees planted at the park entrance. Willows and pine trees are also planted in this park to enhance the Japanese characteristics. Lotus flowers also add colour to the park, with a wooden bridge connecting the park to the little island in the middle of the lake. Overall, the ambiance in this Japanese Garden makes a person feels that he is actually in Japan.There some information that has been attached. Zoo Taiping & Night Safari

Taiping Zoo (Malay: Zoo Taiping) is a zoological park located at Bukit Larut, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia. Established in 1961, Taiping Zoo is the oldest Zoo in Malaysia. It is one of the major zoological parks in Malaysia. It covers 34 acres (14 ha) and exhibits 1300 animals representing 180 species of amphibians, mammals, and reptiles. It also has a night safari. As the only zoo in North Malaysia, it tends to receive a large amount of visitors. It houses the largest number of stump-tailed macaques in Malaysia, which is thirteen, compared to six at the National Zoo of Malaysia (Zoo Negara) and five at the Malacca Zoo. Lata Kinjang

Lata Kinjang waterfall is located about 18 kilometers from Tapah, Perak. From Tapah town visitors are required to follow the federal road and is approximately 13 kilometers to the town of Cenderiang ie a long weekend closest to the waterfall.
